Frozen Entree Program
Calgary Meals on Wheels Frozen Entrée program is an innovative service for clients who need an occaisional meal that is already prepared but may not need a meal delivered daily. These meals consist of a starch, a protein and a vegetable and can be kept in the freezer until clients need them. The meals are easy to heat up in a microwave or conventional oven.
Frozen Entrées are available for anyone in need of balanced, accessible, affordable meals, who desire the flexibility of choosing when and what they eat. This includes seniors, convalescents and people with disabilities. They also make a nice gift for family or friends.
The Frozen Entrées cost is $5.25 per meal. Meals are delivered on Tuesday between 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with one weeks notice, but are available for pick up on other days with a minimum 48 hours notice. A variety of payment methods are accepted.

To receive home delivery, you must first sign up as a client. Once you have successfully signed up:
Select your meals from the options above. There is a minimum order of five meals.
- Call Calgary Meals on Wheels at 403-243-2834 one week in advance of our Tuesday delivery or email us at Client Services.
- Orders placed a minimum of 48 hours in advance may be picked up at the Calgary Meals on Wheels location.
- Please note order times vary if there is a holiday weekend.
