This program was launched in partnership with the Calgary Chinese Elderly Citizens' Association. The service offers affordable and balanced hot Chinese meals to Calgary's seniors, convalescents and people with disabilities. A referral from a doctor is not required.
A Registered Dietitian reviews the menus for the daily fresh-cooked hot meal. The Chinese style meal consists of meat, fish or poultry, rice and a vegetable. Meals are delivered daily during the noon hour.
Cost is $5.25
Regular meal service can be requested from 3-5 days per week. Service can be commenced or cancelled by calling 403-243-2834 (English) or 403-269-6122 (Chinese and English).
