Darrell has had a few challenges in his life and using Calgary Meals on Wheels home meal delivery program has been a saving grace for him.

After living in the same house for 51 years, Kathy decided it was time to downsize with her dog, Cubby, to a more manageable setting.

At one time John was only eating two meals a day and lost quite a bit of weight. Now with the meals from Calgary Meals on Wheels he is eating three meals a day and has regained some weight.

Whether it’s a busy schedule or aging, Linda believes that anyone who feels isolated or alone can benefit from the social interactions and the time savings of being on the Calgary Meals on Wheels program.

To Donna, Calgary Meals on Wheels is a service that’s there for anyone who is struggling on a day-to-day basis. In the past, Donna struggled to prepare meals for herself in her everyday life and needed a helping hand with meal planning and meal preparation.

From Jerry’s perspective, Calgary Meals on Wheels is a service anyone who does not have the time or energy to properly cook for themselves can benefit from.

As we prepare our 2017 Annual Report, our team reflects on the amazing year we’ve had and the many accomplishments achieved with the help of our volunteers, donors, and staff. 

A couple of months ago, we received a call from Brenda, the mother of our client, Aimee. She wanted to let us know how much our service means to Aimee.
